I am just completing my final year of a fine art degree at Shetland college uhi. Thanks to the Scottish government offering free education I was able to take advantage of both higher and further education, both being free.  My work has been mostly reflecting the area where I live in Shetland.  Textures, landscapes, seascapes, cliffs, light, weather combine for inspiration and of course colour, the wonderful colours of these islands is inspirational. My work hasn’t been, nor is it consistent, as I am still investigating and experimenting and I hope that will always be the case.

I have a shed by the beach where I live and am content to keep putting paint on paper, canvas, and wood just to see what happens.
